The purpose of this list is to document every payphone and StreetHub in the UK. Since the number of payphones throughout the UK is decreasing, this national community initiative is designed to help you find your nearest StreetHub. Now you might be wondering, "there will be many payphones and StreetHubs around, how will you manage to get them all?" Well, that's because... YOU will be able to help us! That's right, by clicking the left button below or by calling 0333 996 3629 option 6 and leaving the address, postcode and telephone number after the tone, you will be able to submit payphones and StreetHubs to us and it will appear in our list! To access the list, click the middle button below. If you don't know the address or postcode, that's okay - just say the town and the closest shop and if there is more than one of that shop, any other shops nearby. If there is a problem with the payphone or StreetHub, state the problem in the message and we will have it reported in no time!

How do I find the telephone number?

We understand that not all of you will be telephone enthusiasts, are just starting out or you might just not know how, and that's okay too - just follow the steps below.

1a. If you are using a payphone, do not insert any coins, just dial 17070, this call is absolutely free! If you are using a StreetHub, 17070 won't work

1b. If you are using a StreetHub, 17070 will not work, so instead dial 0141 204 0004, this call is also absolutely free!

2a. You will hear, "This circuit is defined as..." Now listen carefully. The numbers following is what you need to note down. This is the telephone number. After you have noted the number down, you can simply hang up.

2b. If the payphone is located in Hull, do not follow the above instructions as 17070 will not work on a KCOM line and 0141 204 0004 will cost you. But don't worry, this doesn't mean you can't submit the phone! Instead, you will find the number located somewhere close to the phone, usually to the right of the phone.

3. Click the left button below, follow the instructions or call 0333 996 3629 and select option 6. After the tone, state the address, postcode and telephone number you have just noted down and we will immediately be notified of your recording. If you don't know the address or postcode, that's okay - just say the town and the closest shop and if there is more than one of that shop, any other shops nearby. Check back on our list soon and your number will be in our list if our requirements have been met! If there is a problem with the payphone or StreetHub, state the problem in the message and we will have it reported in no time!

Unfortunately at this time payphones with no number cannot be accepted unless there is a problem with it.
